George & family, I know all of you will miss Nell very much. She was a good school friend of mine, along with Carter who is also no longer with us. I remember he gave Nell rides home when both of them were in college in Atlanta. Charlotte

I also worked with Nell at the New Orleans Public Library, and attended science fiction conventions with her as well. Always a fun person, knowledgeable and friendly.

George and family, we sadly noticed the obituary about Nell in our local Charlotte paper. Although it has been so very long since we were all at MPHS, we remember and wish there had been more times together since those very precious years! Please accept our sympathy for your loss. Nell was very special, even 'way back' then! Janet Graven and Bob Tourtellot, 'Mom & Pop' of THE MPHS Class of 1957'

I worked for Nell at The New Orleans Public Library for many years. She was always a good and fair boss and quite witty. So sorry to hear of her passing.
